All data comes from the Chicago Data Portal. Public domain records dating back to 2010, updated weekly.
CleanPlate Score
Our 0-100 score combines multiple factors to give you the full picture of a restaurant's food safety history.
Risk-Adjusted Algorithm: We account for different inspection schedules. A coffee shop (inspected every 2 years) isn't penalized the same as a restaurant (inspected every 6 months) for having an older inspection.
